Are your ads boring and lifeless? Are you having trouble with coming up with ideas on how to attract people to visit your website? How to achieve that people themselves tell you what they like and what they want to buy?
Here are some tips about the important steps when creating a Facebook ad creative.

Imagine that you have already created an ad campaign on Facebook, to the step where you can already determine orcreate your Facebook ad.
You name the ad first. In order to know which ad is which, even after a while, it is good to give it a descriptive name so that you know what it displays. This name is only seen by you and is not visible anywhere else.
You need to select the Facebook page in connection with which you made the ad. If you don’t have a Facebook page yet, you need to create one.
If you have also chose advertising on Instagram as a placement, it is necessary to select your Instagram business page. If you do not have it, it is enough to have just the Facebook page selected. While Facebook owns Instagram.
Then upload the photos or videos you want to use in your Facebook ads.
For photos, it is very important that they do not contain any text. Officially, text can cover ââ20% of a photograph, in reality this is not the case.
But photos with less text will also look less advertising and more natural.
Once the photos have been uploaded, they need to be cropped to fit the individual placement. So next to an individual photo, click Edit and crop the photo.
Photos for ads on Facebook and Instagram stories should be upright. For each placement, Facebook gives you instructions on the required photo size.
When uploading a video youâd like to use in Facebook ads, itâs important to choose its thumbnail. When the video is uploaded, find Customize video.
This gives you the option to crop the video, cut out individual scenes, add subtitles and add a thumbnail. The thumbnail should be without text or as little text as possible. A video with more text in the thumbnail will have less reach or will even be rejected. You can also upload a thumbnail as a special photo.
I recommend that you do other video edits before uploading the video to Facebook ads.

Get the digital index of the book "Digital marketing from A to Z".
A very attractive and also successful creative version of making Facebook ads is a Slideshow.
You can find this option under Videos. Then look for Create slideshow. You will see pre-prepared themes for an animated product presentation. They consist of a few photos that alternate after a pre-prepared animation. You can also write a short text on each photo you upload to present the offer, highlight the benefits, and so on.
This way you get an animated video presentation with the photos, which works nicely on all placements, including stories.
